GENERAL UPDATE

WHERE TO FROM HERE

2024 ONWARDS

So from here on out we have decided to focus primarily on making games and less on making art packs. We have loads of ideas for games and figure the best way to get them out there is just to start working on the even if it takes more learning in the programming department.

Why have we changed out thinking? Well the main reason comes back to what we want to do most, which is make games. Even if it takes a long time, we have decided we would rather work on projects we are most excited about, and then hopefully they end up having enough success that we can dedicate more time to them. If you'd like to see our process and where things go, please consider following us on our socials, buying our asset packs, or if you're feeling extra generous, even visiting our Contact / Support page to donate to our PayPal.

Thank you and we hope to have you along for our journey!

OUR PAST

GENERAL UPDATE

BEFORE 2024

Pointy Circle started out as 2 artists that really wanted to make games trying to chip away at making steps towards their dreams. So far, as life does, many things have come up and changed our path and how we have approached moving forwards. It has never been about "if" we will continue, it's about how and when.

We started out by creating asset packs in the lead up to the release of UE5 hoping that our artworks would get enough attention to help fund our way to making games/hiring a programmer as the 2 people that started Pointy Circle didn't have much experience with programming. Of course as we got things up and running life commitments came up and we weren't able to dedicate as much time with it with 1 of our artists working 7 Days a week and trying to squeeze in any possible time to get work done.

Due to this, some things were put on hold for a time in order to make some adjustments so that creating games could again become a more real possibility. Our packs are still up and are still a great way to support us, we may put some out over time, but games themselves (instead of just art) are what we want to focus on more now.
